The client’s wanted to downsize to a ‘bungalow’ without their home feeling like one.
The brief was to design and build a house which provided privacy, security and functionality. The structure of the dwelling focused on the front door as the arrival reception and the back of the house forming a natural enclosure, capturing daytime sun within the warm v-shaped courtyard.
