Communal Space Design
One of our more local community projects is the Cornfield Project in Coleraine, which has transformed previously disused land between the Ballysally and Millburn estates. As a result, these two communities have been united by a shared interest in creating a beautiful natural space everyone can enjoy.
With a sensory garden, woodland and wildflower areas, and dedicated nature zones, children and adults alike can now make the most of this newly converted space. Throughout the process of developing the land, Bell Architects was a key contributor, ensuring that maximum value was derived from the site. By considering the form and structure of the land, and thinking intentionally about how best to use the space, this ensured a more user-friendly and appealing communal space.
