Historic structures have their own stories to tell, and preserving these buildings is a key part of what we do at Bell Architects. We’re passionate about learning from the past and using this information to inspire our own modern architecture. We’ve worked on many significant stately homes and estates over the years, restoring and breathing new life into tired spaces.

We believe in staying true to the character of these ancient structures when refurbishing or renovating, blending old and new to create something that embodies both the modern world and our historic past. Some of the properties we’ve had the pleasure of working on include Lissanoure Castle in Loughgiel, Rathmullan House in Donegal and Prehen House in Derry-Londonderry. We’ve also worked with Drenagh Estate in Limavady, the Dundarave Estate in Bushmills and Castle Upton in Templepatrick.
